The belief that work is the principal source of income forms one of the fundamental values in the most developed countries.The public testifies that the overall aim of Serbian society is “to live like any normal country”, where normal implies developed. This goal cannot be reached as long as the fluctuation of work-income relation exists. 

We cannot build a healthy market economy while the opposing beliefs and work habits from the communist period or from the crisis of the Nineties are widespread.

We demonstrated how the depreciation of work, through the motivation whirlpool, reinforces and upholds the poverty. Affirmation of work is a precondition for a richer society.

The European future of Serbian society also depends on the attitude towards work, because the European Union is above all bound together by common values.

 The development of the value of work must be the first stage of any successful reform, because as long as they are not solved, the problems in the value of work will continue to cause problems in other fields.
