Agency Faktor plus How much do we work In November 2006, a marketing and public opinion research agency “Faktor Plus” conducted a survey How much do we work? on a sample of 1500 adults. The survey revealed the bipolar division of the population into “those which are actually employed and work and those who still live in the time when each job was permanent, and no particular effort was required in order to keep the job.” - 70,3% of examinees answered that Serbia in general was not a country of hard work.
Conclusions The survey confirms the coexistence of the idleness and industriousness in Serbian society. However, it is interesting to specify that in general the subjects do not think that much work brings much money, and especially that they fail to clearly distinguish the relation between an insufficient work and a bad economic situation. The value of work is disputed, which is indicated by the uncertain relation between work and income. |
